Partnerships that broaden our service offering

Mears offers a complete range of services which are designed to support older and disabled people who want to continue living in their own homes. Our home care services are designed to smoothly integrate with other elements of independent living including healthcare, housing repairs and maintenance, aids and adaptations and telecare.

To enable us to offer a holistic service, Mears has formed a partnership with AKW, a major provider of home adaptations; and Tunstall, a leading provider of telecare services and telehealth solutions. These partnerships mean we can offer a complete set of solutions for individuals who wish to purchase a joined up package to enable independent living.

Partnerships that support communities

Mears’ commitment to care goes further than its care services. We encourage our local branches and care staff to support local community activities which bring benefits to people that we provide care for. This includes activities such as trip, slips and falls awareness and winter wellness campaigns.

We are committed to working with local organisations that enable service users to access support networks and social events. We are also active supporters of organisations that are committed to improving the lives of older and disabled people including Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society, the Dignity in Care Campaign, Macmillan Cancer Support, Campaign Against Loneliness and the Energy Bill Revolution.
